We lead students to learn in a small class of 15 people. If you are more interested in Chinese, you can sign up for our "one-on-one" private teaching.
Our academy focuses on listening, reading, speaking, and writing in Chinese, not through computer character selection learning methods, but through traditional Chinese writing methods.
In the writing section, we start with pen and paper for conception and writing, then later progress to conceiving in the mind and directly writing Chinese compositions on the computer.
Listening - Auditory sense
The beginning of basic writing requires the ability to "understand." Just listening cannot improve language; only understanding can advance to the next level.
Reading - Comprehension
Before writing, one needs reading ability, because reading classic works can increase "text comprehension," strengthen vocabulary understanding, and then achieve integration in oral expression and written communication.
The difficulty in reading Chinese is due to a lack of understanding in recognizing characters and making sentences. Therefore, we will train students to recognize and memorize Chinese characters so that they can enjoy reading Chinese.
Speaking - Expression
"Speaking" does not mean saying whatever you want, but rather it is knowing how to answer in the expression of the topic. It is knowing what needs to be said and what not to say, so as to improve the conversation ability and have excellent expression in future interviews and speeches. Then the ability to speak can be converted into words in the students' minds and become a powerful tool for writing.
Writing - Narrative, Lyrical, and Argumentative essays
The Basic Chinese Class strengthens writing techniques, helps students understand writing topics, prevents off-topic thinking, and focuses on the main theme. Additionally, during the topic research process, students learn how to use search information to enhance their topic-based writing. As students' Chinese abilities deepen, they can write Chinese articles with greater "depth of thinking," use their "distinctive language intuition" to express their "personal uniqueness," and even write with "personal influence.
